Performances in Kibbutz Bet Nir

Under The Common Body, Olivia and Yochai curate a series of dynamic dance performances at Kibbutz Bet Nir, promoting decentralization and bringing dance to the periphery. These events occur on the first Thursday of each month for adults and on Saturday mornings for children. They invite the most innovative and cutting-edge artists from Israel's independent dance scene to showcase their work. These performances aim to engage, inspire, and connect the local community through the transformative power of performance art.

Workshops

The Common Body offers workshops that delve into partnering work and physical communication. These workshops are designed to deepen participants' understanding of their bodies and enhance their ability to connect with others through movement. They integrate a range of techniques and disciplines, like Non Violent Communication (NVC), contact improvisation, Vipassana meditation, Ilan Lev, Feldenkreis, tango, floor work and soft acrobatics providing a comprehensive exploration of physicality and expression. The workshops foster a supportive environment for personal growth and artistic development, reflecting Olivia and Yochai's dedication to building community through dance.
